Ofra
Ofra is a cat from the colony that lives in the garden of an elderly Spanish man. I call this sweet old man Grandpa. Grandpa asked me for help a long time ago when I met him in the village. He supposedly has many cats and kittens on his property and although he loves them very much, he does not have the means to help them with food and medical care. They kept getting kittens but only a few or none survived because the Mamas themselves had nothing and simply could not raise them. Grandpa can just about make ends meet for himself but cannot buy food for the cats. I said that I would come and have a look and if I would help, then only on the condition that I could also castrate and sterilize them all. That was fine. I found a bunch of super skinny cats and kittens there in poor health. Grandpa sometimes gave them some leftover food and dry bread but of course that is not suitable food. In the meantime I feed them every day, together with Faithje, Lowietje and Sofietje, 3 dogs that are also up for virtual adoption (see our list) All cats and dogs have now been sterilized and castrated, medically treated and are starting to become solid cats. Ofra is a very gentle cat, like most tortoiseshell cats. She is always patient and will never push. She was extremely thin when we first started taking care of the group, but is now a lot healthier in weight and condition.

Your virtual adoption helps us continue to support them with food, medical care and love.
The cats/dogs were all helped by Manos Amigas using the TNR method, which stands for Trap-Neuter-Return (catch, neutralize and release).
The cats on our site are not suitable for rehoming in a home.
